I actually remembered GPOYW tonight. Took a picture and everything. But about 10 minutes ago I found out that a friend lost her child. Maddie was a year and a half and was just admitted to the hospital yesterday with trouble getting oxygen. She died tonight. I don’t know how many times I can type, erase and retype that.
Mad was a preemie and had seen her share of hospital visits (the most recent right after I last hung with her mom in Feb) but I’m sitting here and tears are running and I’m just in shock. Heather has always been a huge March of Dimes advocate and my dad was really involved as I grew up, as both of his children spent time in an incubator (I was 6 weeks early, Brother had a cleft palate). I know times are tight but please think about it.
